I paid a lot of money to stay there for just 3 nights and possibly got the worst room. The shower head was broken and the bathroom tap looked loose and seemed like it could come off. The bathroom has no lock so lack of privacy and homer juhu could still view someone showering through the gaps. The privacy screen needs to be from inside. Room service often forgot to provide some utensils. Food is way over priced. Not sure if I will stay or recommend friends to stay there. The only positive is the poolside but even that was allblocked off for private functions. Though I totally understand that such parties will have to be accommodated too but if the party is in the evening at least in the morning the pool can be made accessible. So much so that it took us above 30 mins to enter the hotel and we had to cross a stretch of maybe about 300 mtr only. The hotel is full of non hotel guest - therefore the sunbeds were always taken up. The pool bar area was dirty and dated. I emailed the hotel a month prior to my stay to enquire anoyt the New Yeras Party so I received the Eraly Bird dicounted ticket price. The daily cleaning was adequate - they did not consistently restock and clean the room well. Akshay in housekeeping was an exception and cleaned our room well. The Square for breakfast provided great service and staff was pleasant and the food at he Chinese restaurant, were the highlights of the stay. Check in desk staff was inconsistent when we had questions. Two problems: 1- the water used to go while using the shower. The supply user to resume after a minute or so. This used to happen intermittently. I called the hotel service 5 times. Also rose that we are suffocating. All that happened was that an Engineer came understood the problem and went off. We'd stayed without power for about an hour and finally checked homer juhu as our was time We had a very nice experience at Novotel, Juhu.
